New OB-GYN joins CKHA

A new doctor is joining the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance's (CKHA) Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) department.

Dr. Samuel Enokela is joining the health team after studying in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

"His extensive training in various health care fields, combined with his dedication to comprehensive patient care, directly supports our strategic objective of enhancing services for women and children in Chatham-Kent," said Dr. Zeke Milkovic, Chief of Staff at CKHA.

Enokela's arrival means there are now six physicians in CKHA's OB-GYN department. He comes six months after Dr. Jessica Smith was hired.

“I’m honoured to begin my practice... and to contribute to the care of women and families in this region. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care and to help improve health outcomes for mothers and their babies," said Enokela.

He'll be practicing alongside Smith and Dr. Charles Hamm at the King Street clinic in Chatham.

Enokela is accepting referrals via fax at 226-996-0088.
