If you've ever wanted a peek behind the curtains at some of Chatham-Kent's (CK) top attractions, you'll soon have a chance to see.
Doors Open Chatham-Kent is part of a province wide initiative that aims to get locals out and exploring their communities, by opening doors typically closed to the public.
On Saturday, October 3, 13 locations will participate in the free event. Each site will offer a unique experience from guided tours to hands-on activities.
Some of CK's top museums and galleries will be taking part, as will the Glenlochie Lodge in Dresden, the Red Barn Brewing Company, and SheepDog Animation.
Wallaceburg's Sycamore Woods, which are only accessible with special permission from adjacent landowners and with a NatureCK guide, is the only attraction that requires registration to enter.
