This summer, residents and visitors alike are invited to roll out their yoga mats and soak up the natural beauty of Georgian Bluffs with a new community initiative. Yoga in the Park is a series of free outdoor yoga sessions designed to get people moving, breathing, and enjoying the outdoors together.
Led by local instructor Julie Bradley-Low of Stonegrove Wellness Studio, each relaxed, one-hour class offers a welcoming space for participants of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or simply curious to give it a try, the sessions promise a gentle way to stretch, slow down, and take in the peaceful surroundings of Sarawak Family Park.
“We’re excited to offer this simple, accessible way for people to connect with both their bodies and their community,” said organizers from the Township of Georgian Bluffs. “It’s a chance to unplug, move in the fresh air, and just enjoy the moment.”
Sessions will be held on Sundays on June 22, July 13, July 27, August 10, August 24, and September 7.
All sessions begin at 10:30 am at Sarawak Family Park. Admission is free or by donation, and no registration is required.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, water, and anything else they need to feel comfortable. A small number of extra mats will be available for those without one. Carpooling is recommended to help ease parking and reduce environmental impact.
This program is part of Georgian Bluffs’ ongoing commitment to offering community-focused, active programming that makes the most of the township’s beautiful outdoor spaces. Yoga in the Park is proudly supported by 2025 Community Sponsors Hutten and Co., Land and Shore and EH!tel.
Whether you come solo, with a friend, or make it part of your Sunday routine, organizers promise you’ll leave feeling a little more grounded.
