An 86-year-old pedestrian is in critical condition after a collision involving a pickup truck in the parking lot of the Stratford Mall.
Emergency crews were called to the front entrance of the mall where the pedestrian had been hit just after 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The pedestrian, an 86-year-old man, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital. As of late Sunday afternoon, Stratford police said the man was listed in critical condition.
A section of the parking lot was blocked off by yellow police tape for much of the day while investigators were on scene. It has since been reopened.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided when available.
