Perth County OPP have confirmed that one person died as a result of a Friday morning crash that closed part of Perth Road 180.
Police confirmed in a social media post just after 10 a.m. on Friday that the two-vehicle crash had closed Perth Road 180 between Hwy 8 and Line 39.
Additionally, Line 36 was also closed between Road 179 and Manley Road due to the crash. Perth County EMS was also on-scene assessing injuries, and one person was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver was identified as an 89-year-old woman from Stratford. Her name has not been publicly released.
The OPP re-opened both roadways just before 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
