Hanover is inviting the local business community to connect and discuss the future of the downtown core.
Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community partners are invited to gather for the Fourth Annual Mayor’s Breakfast for Business next month.
The event takes place on Wednesday, October 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 130 in Hanover.
This year's theme is "Meet Me Downtown," focusing on the future of Hanover's downtown core, highlighting recent accomplishments, sharing key findings from local business research, and building momentum for continued growth and investment.
"Downtown Hanover is the heart of our community and a key driver of local economic prosperity," said Mayor Sue Paterson. "This breakfast provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to come together, celebrate progress and discuss how we can continue to strengthen and invest in our downtown as our community continues to grow."
Attendees will receive updates on several economic initiatives, including the recently completed Downtown Hanover Plan, findings from the Town's Business Retention and Expansion Study, and marketing efforts such as the Driftscape app. The morning will also feature a Downtown Business Owner Panel alongside updates from the Hanover Downtown Improvement Area and the Hanover Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets are $20, including a full breakfast catered by the Hanover Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite or with cash at the Town of Hanover Municipal Offices at 341 10th Street. Further details are available at hanover.ca.
