Snowy end to November for Sarnia-Lambton

Heavy snow is expected for Sarnia-Lambton as November comes to an end.

Environment Canada has posted a snowfall warning for the region with 10 to 15 centimetres of snow possible by Sunday night.

The national weather agency said snow beginning Saturday evening will transition to lake effect flurries late Sunday with the potential for snow squalls, which could lead to additional significant accumulation Sunday night.

Environment Canada said travel conditions may become challenging due to accumulating snow. Gusty winds may also result in reduced visibility.

Motorists are advised to adjust their driving to the changing conditions and allow extra time for travel.
