Suncor donates to St. Clair Child & Youth Services

Suncor has donated $25,000 to St. Clair Child and Youth Services, bringing support to almost 200 local families.

“We are incredibly grateful to Suncor for their generous support of our families during the holiday season,” said St. Clair Child & Youth Services Executive Director Craig McKenzie in a news release. “This donation allowed us to reach more families than ever before and provide meaningful support at a time when many are facing increased financial pressures. Partnerships like this make a real difference in the lives of children and youth in our community.”

St. Clair Child & Youth Services is a mental health centre serving children, youth, and families in Lambton County from birth up to 18 years of age.

Every year, St. Clair Child and Youth Services looks to the local community to come together in support to help families who may be experiencing financial strain through the holiday gift card program, which is completely donor-funded.

“Supporting organizations that lift up children, youth, and families is central to how we help build strong communities,” said Suncor’s Director of Community Investment Jenn Kim, in a news release. “St. Clair Child & Youth Services is a vital source of support in Lambton County, and we’re proud to help extend that care to even more families. Partnerships like this show the meaningful impact local support can have.”

With rising costs and ongoing financial pressures, the need for support continues to grow.

Suncor's donation made it possible to distribute a total of 400 gift cards to help families cover essential needs.
