Three teens have been arrested for alleged "egging" incidents at several different convenience stores.
Sarnia police said they were called to a 24-hour convenience store near Cathcart Boulevard and Colborne Road at around 9:30 p.m. on January 24.
It's alleged a store clerk had things such as eggs, pickles, and onions thrown at her head by a group of teens who fled the area in a SUV.
Later at around 10:45 p.m., police allege they found the vehicle in a parking lot on Devine Street. While investigating, a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old surrendered to police.
Further investigation revealed the 19-year old had been arrested for similar incidents at a convenience stores on Christina Street and Indian Road just days prior, on January 22.
Both teens were arrested and face multiple charges, including assault with a weapon.
A third young person is also facing two charges of mischief under $5,000 in relation to the incidents on January 22.
