Man accused of indecent acts charged with bail violations

A man charged in connection with a series of indecent acts has been arrested again.

On June 2, 2025 Sarnia police responded to the Howard Watson Nature trail near Retford Avenue.

Police allege a woman pushing a child in a stroller was approached by an elderly man on a bike who exposed himself before taking off.

He was arrested and charged with six counts of committing an indecent act and two counts of exposure to a minor.

On Wednesday, March 18 police allege a GPS-equipped ankle monitor alert was generated that the accused had violated his release conditions by being within 10 meters of the Howard Watson Trail near Telfer Road.

The 75-year-old was arrested and held for bail on a charge of failing to comply with a release order.

He has been remanded into custody by the court.

This was the second time the accused was charged with violating his release conditions. He was arrested on September 28, 2025 for the same offence.
