Two people have been taken to local hospital after a single-vehicle collision.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, Sarnia Fire Rescue was called to a home near Poplar Avenue and Evergreen Drive for reports of a vehicle vs structure.
On scene, crews found a vehicle had violently struct the concrete steps of a home.
Two occupants had exited the vehicle and were found conscious but complaining of injuries.
Sarnia Fire said if the vehicle had gone further, a more serious outcome could've occurred as there were people home at the time of the crash.
Crews were able to secure the vehicle, and both occupants were taken to Bluewater Health by EMS for further assessment and treatment.
Sarnia police closed the roadway while an investigation took place. The road was reopened at around 1 p.m. on Saturday.
