Those suffering from ankle and foot ailments now have a new treatment option in Sarnia.
Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Hyder Ali Khan recently joined Bluewater Health's professional staff.
Dr. Ali Khan completed his Doctor of Medicine, Family Medicine Residency, and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.
In a news release, he said he's excited to be here.
“I was drawn to Bluewater Health because of the strong reputation of the orthopaedic group in Sarnia, the collaborative environment, and the opportunity to provide high-quality foot and ankle and lower extremity surgical care," he said. "As someone from LaSalle, Ontario, and having trained in southwestern Ontario, it was important to me to build my career in this region, where my wife and our families are located nearby. I am grateful for the opportunity to join Bluewater Health and look forward to working with an excellent team of orthopaedic surgeons while serving patients and families in the community.”
Bluewater Health Chief of Staff and Vice President of Medical Affairs Dr. Mike Haddad said Dr. Ali Khan is a welcome addition to the team.
