An emergency incident closed part of a major Sarnia thoroughfare.
Just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sarnia Fire Rescue announced on social media that the southbound lane of Indian Road North between Errol Road and Michigan Avenue.
At this time, few details are available, except that emergency crews had responded to the area and that the closure was necessary to safely operate and to protect the public.
The roadway will remain closed until emergency crews have completed their operations.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area, use alternate routes, and obey all emergency personnel and barricades.
