Some Lambton County residents and businesses are being told to conserve water, until further notice, while repairs are being made to a transmission pipeline on London Line.
In a notice posted late Wednesday, the Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS) said those in the Town of Plympton-Wyoming, Township of Warwick, Municipality of Brooke-Alvinston, and Municipality of Lambton Shores west of Highway 21, including the Town of Forest, are affected.
LAWSS said the precautionary measure will help reduce demand on the system and ensure adequate water supplies remain available while the repair is completed.
There is currently no impact to the safety or quality of the drinking water.
Further updates will be provided if conditions change or additional action is required. LAWSS is thanking those impacted for their cooperation and understanding.
