Windsor police are investigating the second shooting within 24 hours in an east-end neighbourhood.
Officers responded to Monticello Avenue between Porcupine Street and Firgrove Drive at around 9 p.m. Thursday. Video surveillance footage and witness statements indicated that a second shooting had taken place, but there was no physical evidence found.
This incident followed one that occurred just before 7 a.m. at a home on Monticello, closer to Firgrove. Shots were fired at a house, and a white cube van seen leaving the first scene was found nearby with fire damage.
No injuries have been reported in any of the incidents.
Police are still appealing to residents for security camera footage.
