The CEO of the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel wants to let commuters know the tunnel will remain open while crews set up the track for the Detroit Grand Prix.
Pre-race track set-up starts on Wednesday.
Traffic will be re-routed on the Detroit end of the tunnel so drivers can safely enter and leave the tunnel without entering the race route.
From Windsor to Detroit, drivers need to take a right-hand turn onto Jefferson Avenue and head to the I-375.
Leaving Detroit, the best round is still I-375 to Jefferson Avenue.
CEO Tal Czudner said drivers might want to give themselves a few extra minutes.
Between Thursday and June 1, drivers should show a dashboard placard to get to the tunnel. Those are available at the Windsor and Detroit toll plazas.
Those who take the Tunnel Bus to Detroit should know the bus will only stop at the Detroit Tunnel Plaza between Wednesday and June 1.
