The Municipality of Lakeshore is ready to issue grants for deserving community projects.
Applications are now open for the 2025 installment of the Lakeshore Community Benefit Fund Grant program, which supports capital projects that enrich the community.
"We’re proud to build on the success of previous years and continue supporting the vital work of non-profits and community organizations through the Community Benefit Fund," said Mayor Tracey Bailey. "These organizations play a key role in enhancing quality of life across Lakeshore, and we’re excited to help them bring important capital projects to life in 2025."
Last year's program brought a tremendous response, resulting in the 2024 fund being fully used.
Grants this year will be capped at $5,000 to allow more people an opportunity to benefit. They will also be limited to projects involving facility upgrades, equipment purchases, and other long-term improvements.
Eligible organizations interested in a grant should apply online through the Municipality's official website. Groups are encouraged to read the attached policy, which provides valuable information about the program.
The deadline to apply is September 30.
