They're still counting up the total, but organizers of this year's Comber Fair are pleased with the turnout.
Extreme heat kept paramedics busy, but approximately 10,000 people came out to the fair.
Shelley Ashley is the secretary of the Comber Agricultural Society. She said this past weekend's turnout was on par with past years' attendance.
The event, now in its 166th year, raises money to support the Comber Agricultural Society and other charitable causes, like Meg's PJ Party, which supplies pyjamas for children staying at the Children's Hospital in London during the Christmas season.
Organizers also gave away eight $2,000 bursaries to college students.
