If you live in Tecumseh and you still have a lot of yard waste around your property, you'll be able to put that on the curb on Monday.
Tecumseh Town Council has added an extra day of yard waste pickup because of warmer weather this fall, keeping the leaves on trees longer than usual.
The contractor will start picking up those bags at 4 a.m. on Monday, so the town recommends putting yard waste out on Sunday night.
Yard waste in plastic bags will not be picked up. Acceptable containers for that are paper yard waste bags, cardboard boxes, garbage cans, and pails.
