Windsor police arrested and charged a man in connection to multiple dumpster fires Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the area of Ottawa Street and Parent Avenue around 7:30 p.m. for a report of a waste bin on fire. When they arrived on scene, officers helped the complainant extinguish the flames.
Additional fires were also set in garbage bins between the gas pumps of a nearby business.
Officers soon located the suspect. The 37-year-old was charged with arson causing property damage and failure to comply with a release order.
