For several hours on Wednesday afternoon some Windsor-Essex residents were having difficulty connecting.
Essex-Windsor EMS has confirmed that Bell reported issues with connecting to the emergency line. Some people trying to call 911 from a landline were getting a busy signal, and those using a cellphone experienced delays in getting their call through.
The issue was resolved around 3:30 p.m.
