UPDATE: Windsor B&E suspect identified

Windsor police say a suspect wanted for a break-and-enter has been identified.

On February 3, employees of a business on Ouellette Avenue arrived to work to find the place ransacked. An investigation revealed that a computer monitor was stolen, and several beverages were stolen and consumed inside the business.

Investigators determined that an unknown man unlawfully entered the business and stayed inside for more than four hours.

Windsor police reported on Monday morning that the suspect has been identified. No word on whether an arrest was made.

The suspect is wanted for break-and-enter and committing an indictable offence.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Target Base Unit at (519) 255-6700, extension 4350.
