Essex to start recognizing businesses' significant anniversaries

If you operate a business and you have an important anniversary coming up, the Town of Essex wants to recognize it.

It has launched a new Business Recognition Program to honour milestone anniversaries of local commercial and industrial businesses.

Businesses can be recognized for five, ten, or even more than 65 years of service in the community.

Approved businesses will receive an official Town of Essex certificate, signed by Mayor Sherry Bondy, commemorating their contributions to the local community. The anniversary will also be posted on the town's website, on its social media channels, and in local newspapers.

"We are proud to celebrate our local businesses through the Business Recognition Program," said Mayor Sherry Bondy. "Each milestone represents resilience and ongoing commitment to our community. We look forward to honouring the businesses that continue to help Essex grow and thrive."

Business owners who wish to participate can apply on the town's website.
