Crash in Leamington blamed on impaired driving

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating another crash involving alleged impaired driving, this time in Leamington.

The OPP were called to Wakefield Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday after a collision.

A 44-year-old Windsor man is now charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of impaired driving.

Police didn't say if there were any injuries.

The suspect is expected to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on April 29. In the meantime, his driver's license has been suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle will be impounded for a week.
