Windsor police say two brothers connected to a violent road rage incident earlier this month have turned themselves in.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 2, in the area of Devonshire Road and Riverside Drive East in Walkerville.
Officers learned that the victim had confronted one motorist about aggressive driving, which led to an argument that escalated into a physical fight.
A second motorist joined in the assault on the victim. Both suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was treated in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Windsor police reported on Tuesday morning that the suspects, brothers aged 26 and 16, surrendered at police headquarters.
Both face one count of aggravated assault. With one of the suspects being a minor, their names will not be released.
The charges have not been proven in court.
