The Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) Corporation has provided the City of Windsor with a quarterly payment for hosting Caesars Windsor.
The City has been provided with a cheque for $1,835,659.
This payment covers the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, from January 1 to March 31, 2026.
"OLG shares revenues with Windsor as a host gaming municipality to help invest in local priorities, including community services and infrastructure," said Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Andrew Dowie. "These payments generated at Caesars Windsor are part of our government’s commitment to support municipalities and to protect what matters most – those critical services families rely on."
The payments are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement, which is applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario.
The first temporary Casino Windsor opened in the spring of 1994. Since then, the City has received $140,630,268.
The total payment for the entire 2025-26 fiscal year is $9,284,339.
