Windsor police arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
On Wednesday, April 9, officers were called to the area of Wyandotte Street East and Crawford Avenue after witnessing a woman, who looked in distress, being pushed out of a vehicle.
Police report the woman connected with a man through social media and arranged to meet at a bar. Afterwards, he drove the woman to a home in east Windsor where a sexual assault allegedly occurred. The man forced the woman out of the vehicle while driving home.
A suspect was identified and arrested at a home on Central Avenue. He was charged with sexual assault, assault, and Highway Traffic Act offences.
