Hospice Dove Pin Campaign returns

Starting Thursday and only for the next four days, Windsor-Essex residents can help support The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County by buying a dove pin.

The dove has been a symbol of the hospice for the past 45 years, and the pins were made locally by Ground Effects LTD and Mega Mold International.

"We're excited to see the Dove Pin campaign continue to grow as it returns for a fifth year," said President of Ground Effects LTD Jim Scott.

Hospice volunteers will offer the pins at 30 locations across the region from April 23 to April 26. They'll be available at various locations, including Home Hardware, Metro, Rexall, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sobeys, Zehrs, Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, and Anna's Garden Home and Wellness.

The full list of locations is posted on the hospice's website.

"By wearing your Hospice Dove Pin, you're directly supporting compassionate, high-quality care for those who need it the most," said Hospice Executive Director Katharen Bortolin.
