City calls on young artists to create for upcoming Children's Art Exhibit

The City of Windsor is calling on budding artists between the ages of six and 13 to submit their artwork.

The city and its International Relations Committee want those for the 10th Annual Children's Art Exhibit.

The art will be featured, alongside art from children from Windsor's twin cities around the world. Details about the exhibit will be shared once the finalists are chosen.

Artwork should be submitted on paper or art paper, approximately 10 inches by 16 inches. The art needs to be submitted no later than Friday, June 26.

The exhibition was created to strengthen Windsor's relationship with its twin cities. The first instalment was held at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre. Since then, the art of Windsor's young artists has been put on display in several locations across the community, including City Hall, Devonshire Mall, and Art Windsor-Essex.

Artwork must be submitted to Sandra Gebauer at 350 City Hall Square, Suite 530, Windsor, Ontario, N9A 6S1.

Include your child's name and contact information if you would like to be notified when the art is on display.
