Three boaters have been rescued after their boat began to flood near Belle Isle.
Windsor Police Marine Unit responded to a vessel in distress at roughly 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Police said they arrived on scene in roughly five minutes, but in that time the vessel became partly submerged, with the boaters attempting to bail out the boat.
The three boaters were rescued by two nearby fishermen. No injuries were reported.
According to police, the boaters were U.S. citizens and were passed off to the U.S. Coast Guard to be transported back to Michigan.
