Windsor police say a 21-year-old man has been arrested following a complaint about a sexual assault involving a minor.
Officers responded to a disturbance call at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday in the area of St. Luke Road near Seminole Street.
They learned that a 15-year-old girl was led by a male acquaintance to a secluded section of a nearby park, then allegedly sexually assaulted.
The victim also told police that she was struck in the face when she told the man to stop. She was treated for her injuries in hospital.
A short time later, police arrested a suspect nearby.
Benson William Moroz is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with someone under 16, and assault.
The charges have not been proven in court.
