The weather's warm, the road is calling, and the Town of Essex has a new webpage full of information for cyclists looking to explore the town's scenic waterfront trails.
The webpage, called Cycling in Essex, was developed in consultation with Share the Road, a local advocacy group of cyclists in the region.
Not only does the webpage mark out cycling routes, but it also offers safety tips and information about bike lockers.
"Essex is a wonderful place to explore by bicycle," said Mayor Sherry Bondy. "Whether you're cycling to work, enjoying a leisurely ride through our beautiful communities, or visiting our waterfront, this new webpage provides information and resources needed to get started."
The town also offers overnight parking options for cyclists, so visitors can extend their stay and experience what Essex has to offer.
