The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued warnings for five local beaches this week.
High levels of E.coli were found in the water at Cedar Beach, Colchester Beach, Holiday Beach, Lakeshore Lakeview Park West Beach, and Point Pelee Northwest Beach.
Cedar Island Beach and Seacliff Beach have been deemed safe for swimming.
While the water is safe, an orange air quality warning is still in effect as of Friday. Environment Canada recommends limiting time spent outside due to heavy smoky conditions.
For the most up-to-date water conditions, the health unit's predictive modelling results are available here.
