Police in Windsor have arrested a 23-year-old man after a violent altercation resulted in a stabbing early Saturday morning.
Officers found a 20-year-old man with stab wounds in an alleyway near Wyandotte Street West and Pelissier Street.
Soon, they learned of a fight involving two groups of people earlier, around 2:30 a.m. The victim had been stabbed during the altercation.
Officers found the suspect a block south at Pelissier and Elliott Street West. K9 Officer Link found a knife nearby, hidden under a vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing, but the police service said it has charged Jalen Anthony Lynch with aggravated assault.
