If you have unwanted electronics taking up space in your home, you can get rid of them by taking them to the casino.
Caesars Windsor is inviting the public to drop off their old electronics at its e-waste collection depot on September 14 and 15 at the gated parking lot across from the Colosseum on Windsor Avenue. Residents can pull up to the gate off of Chatham Street, west of McDougall Avenue.
Caesars Windsor is a participant in Caesars Entertainment's corporate-wide commitment to environmental stewardship, called CodeGreen.
"Unwanted electronics shouldn't end up in landfills," read a release. "Most of the parts, such as steel, glass, copper, aluminium, plastics, and precious metals, can be recovered and made into new products. E-waste, if not managed properly, can be harmful to human health and the environment."
Volunteers will be on site to help residents offload their e-waste.
Collection starts both days at 8 a.m. and wraps up at 4 p.m.
