Face-to-Face raises $126K in 2026

The 24th annual Face-to-Face Campaign raised $126,390 during its month and half long campaign for Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.

The funds support the Fairley Family Transportation program that provides rides to medical appointments and other programs for patients.

It also supports the G.E.N.I.E. Transportation Program, which partners with paramedics to offer experiences to patients and their families.

“Some of the most meaningful moments in life are also the ones that may seem the simplest. Being together as a family, returning to a place that holds special memories, or having one less thing to worry

about during an incredibly difficult time. Face to Face, and the many people who support it, help make those moments possible. John and his family have built something truly special over the past 24 years,

and our community continues to carry it forward in a remarkable way. On behalf of all of us at Hospice, I can’t express enough how grateful we are,” said Katharen Bortolin, Executive Director.

Since 2004, the campaign has raised over $1.9 million for Hospice.

“As the 2026 Face to Face Campaign comes to a close, my family and I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who made this year’s campaign such a tremendous success,” said John Fairley, Founder of the Hospice Face to Face Campaign. “To our incredible donors, supporters, volunteers, and media partners – thank you for standing with Hospice and for believing in the importance of compassionate care in our community. A special note of gratitude to our ‘Army on the Ground,’ the dedicated individuals who collected donations, shared our message, opened doors, started conversations, and brought the spirit of Hospice directly into our community – you are the heart of this campaign.”
