Pitcher Quinton Johnston got the win after tossing a quality start, while Jake Taylor got eight outs for the save.
This was the second straight year that Sarnia hosted the Gold Bat Invitational Tournament. In 2024, the Brigade lost in the championship match to the Newmarket Hawks.
The other 10 teams who competed in the 2025 tournament were the Tecumseh Thunder, the Thornhill Reds, the Erindale Cardinals, the Etobicoke Rangers, the Burlington Brants, the Leaside Leafs, the Newmarket Hawks, the Ilderton Riverhawks, the Windsor Athletics, and the Brampton Royals.
