Pedestrian hurt in Walpole Island crash

A 34-year-old was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a pickup truck at Walpole Island First Nation.

Walpole Island Police Service (WIPS), Lambton OPP, and emergency medical services responded to the crash on Chiefs Road, just after 6:10 a.m. Monday.

Police said the investigation continues.
