Most Wanted List helps CK police make arrest

A Chatham man has been arrested after someone recognized him on Chatham-Kent (CK) police's Most Wanted List.

The man was charged with assault in October 2025 after allegedly being involved in a fight outside a Chatham business. He was arrested and released from police custody but missed a court appearance, leading to a warrant being issued.

Fast forward to Wednesday, when CK police received a call from someone claiming to know the man after seeing his photo on the police's Most Wanted List.

With help from the caller, police later found the man on Campbell Street in Chatham.

He was arrested, but has since been released again with a future court date.
