Provincial police in Perth County are sounding the alarm about missing road signs.
Between April 1 and 18, numerous signs, including stop, checkerboards, school bus stop ahead, and chevrons, were stolen from the Township of Perth East.
Police did not provide the exact number of signs that have been stolen.
Unauthorized removal of road signs, especially stop signs, can cause serious collisions resulting in severe injury or death.
Police are asking anyone with information about the thefts to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
