Sting lose seventh in a row Sunday, 7-3 to Saginaw

The Sting outshot Saginaw 42-30 Sunday afternoon at Progressive Auto Sales Arena, but fell 7-3 to the visiting Spirit.

Tyler Challenger, Mitch Young and Easton Walos all scored for Sarnia in the loss. Beckham Edwards had two assists for the Sting.

Tensions ran high in the third period as a total of 19 players were handed misconducts for getting into scrums.

It was the Sting's seventh loss in a row. Sarnia's last win was a 7-4 victory over the Spirit in Saginaw on February 21.

In a pregame ceremony Sunday, the Sting honoured overagers Mitch Young, Ben Pickell and Jordan Bax.
