Future students and their families have been invited to Lambton College for its spring open house.
The campus will be fully accessible for students to explore and see facilities on their own or during a guided tour.
"It's shaping up to be one of our biggest open houses. It's really anybody's best day to see everything there is to do at the school, whether you're thinking about applying or maybe you have applied and you're trying to decide what school to go to, there is no better day in the year to come," said Future Student Advisor at Lambton College Brady Chambers. "A faculty representative from every program is out that day."
Students and families will have the opportunity to experience the campus through guided tours at both the main campus and the fire school.
The open house runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Lambton’s Main Campus, with shuttle service to the Fire School in Corunna.
There will also be activities and draws to enter, including a chance to win free tuition.
"We have draws happening throughout the day. We're giving away a ton of gift cards. If you've confirmed to a program, you can actually get an additional prize that day, just by showing us that you have confirmed. And everybody who enters the door and registers at the front door is entered into a draw to win free tuition," said Chambers.
If you have yet to apply to a program, a representative from Ontario Colleges will be on site to help you through the process, and Lambton College will cover the application fee.
"If you are deciding, maybe you haven't applied yet, we will also pay for your application. So if you have not submitted an application for the 2026 2027 academic year, you can do that at the open house with us. We actually have representatives from Ontario Colleges there to help with applications, and we will pay the $150 application fee for anybody who hasn't applied," said Chambers.
All facilities, including the student residence, will be open for viewing; registration is not required, and everyone is welcome to attend.
