Fentanyl seized in traffic stop outside Kettle Point First Nation

The Anishinabek Police Service (APS) has seized 32 grams of suspected fentanyl from a vehicle that was allegedly heading to Kettle Point First Nation.

On Thursday, at around 1 p.m., APS and the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a car on Lakeshore Road in Lambton Shores.

Police said plastic bags, containing suspected blue and white fentanyl, were seized during a search.

The driver of the vehicle, a 56-year-old man from Kettle Point First Nation, and the passenger, a 36-year-old man from Lambton Shores, were arrested.

They're both charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking and were each released on an undertaking.
