Windsor police have arrested a woman and two youths after a man was stabbed multiple times late Wednesday night.
Officers were called at around 11:30 p.m. to Giles Boulevard East near Marentette Avenue and found a 37-year-old man with numerous stab wounds on his upper body. He was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police learned that the man was assaulted at a nearby house. He made his way back to Giles East and called 911.
Three people were found a short distance away and were arrested without incident. Police say the suspects and victim were known to each other.
A 34-year-old woman, a 16-year-old, and a 17-year-old are charged with attempted murder. The teens can not be named under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The charges have not been proven in court.
