Three more sought in home invasion, assault of seniors

Windsor police are looking for three people in connection to a home invasion earlier this year.

Five people forced their way into a home on Luxury Avenue in January. Two elderly residents were assaulted and bound while the suspects stole items from the house.

They took off in a Hyundai Tucson, which was stolen from the residence.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested in February.

This week, a 42-year-old woman was arrested on Highland Avenue. She was charged with two counts of robbery with violence.

Arrest warrants have been issued for the remaining three suspects.

Husien Khalaf, 27, Alaa Khalaf, 19, and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are all wanted for the following charges:

• Break-and-enter to commit robbery

• Robbery with an offensive weapon

• Robbery

• Assault causing bodily harm

• Assault with a weapon

• Assault

• Forcible confinement

• Uttering death threats

• Theft of a motor vehicle

Husien Khalaf is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5’3” tall, approximately 150 pounds, with a small build, full beard, black hair, and brown eyes.

Alaa Khalaf is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5’4” tall, approximately 119 pounds, with a small build, short black goatee, black hair, and brown eyes.
