Taste of Walkerville returns on Saturday

The Walkerville Business Improvement Association invites food enthusiasts, craft beverage fans, and culture seekers to its new Taste of Walkerville event on Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., more than 20 local restaurants and over 30 local food vendors are participating in the second annual event on Argyle Road and Gladstone Avenue.

"We're thrilled to welcome food and drink companies, vendors, community members, and tourists to experience the culinary heart of Walkerville," said Event Chair of the Walkerville BIA, Shannon Gilbert. "Whether you're a longtime foodie or just looking for a great way to spend a Saturday, Taste of Walkerville has something for everyone."

There's live entertainment all day featuring local musicians and performers. Watch your meal being prepared during live street-side cooking and wash it down with a craft cocktail on one of the extended patios.

Foodies can also pick up cookware, cookbooks, and accessories.

The event is free.
