UPDATE: Driver seriously injured in Kingsville collision

The area surrounding County Roads 18 and 34 in Kingsville has reopened following a crash investigation.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, Kingsville firefighters, and Essex-Windsor EMS paramedics responded at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday to the intersection after a two-vehicle collision.

The driver of one of the vehicles was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle were not hurt.

County Road 18 between Graham Side Road and County Road 31 was closed for roughly 15 hours, along with County Road 34 between Olinda Side Road and Highway 3.

All roads were reopened at around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
