Attempted murder suspect arrested for breaching bail

A 29-year-old man out on bail for attempted murder was arrested and charged by Windsor police last week.

The man was granted bail in the Peel Region on multiple criminal charges, including attempted murder using a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.

As part of his release, the man was ordered to live in Windsor with a surety, under house arrest, and was subject to electronic monitoring.

The Windsor Police bail compliance officers determined he violated the terms of his release.

On September 10, officers arrested the 29-year-old along with his 31-year-old surety, who now faces a charge of facilitating a breach of a release order.
