Police reported they had a warrant for the 28-year-old's arrest on October 7.

The man was wanted in connection to a drug trafficking investigation. As part of the investigation, police had two search warrants for the suspect's vehicle and a home on South Pacific Avenue.

On September 30, officers spotted the car at a gas station on Front Road in LaSalle, but as they approached, the driver sped off.

The man is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
