A single-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer shut down the Highway 401 eastbound on-ramp to Belle River Road for several hours overnight, but the ramp is open now.
The Ontario Provincial Police say the tractor-trailer went into the ditch on Sunday night, and the closure was necessary to facilitate the investigation.
OPP Constable Chris Ciliska confirmed that the trailer went off the road at the ramp.
No one was injured, and the driver was given a citation.
The ramp reopened around 12:30 a.m.
